Dr. Katima completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Science, Environmental Management, Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa, Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Sanitation, Ghent University, Belgium, and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical and Process Engineering, University of Dar es Salaam. Dr Katima is fully Registered as Environmental Impact Assessor by National Environment Management Council (NEMC))- NEMC/ EIA/ 0390. Also registered as Environmental Auditor by NEMC) NEMC/ EA/ 0183. Dr.Katima has experience on Chemical Engineering, Air Pollution Monitoring, Atmospheric Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Management.
